I wanna stick a fork in this turkey of a 1776 Fund. And you've said that it's moot. I've had colleagues here, attorney, I'm not an attorney. I'm a business consultant. I see a problem, I wanna solve it. This is a problem. It should never be paid out. You've said it's gonna be moot, that it's moot. Others, these smart attorneys that I'm surrounded by, think that the courts are probably gonna deal with it, but why should we waste the court capacity on this issue if I could walk to the Senate floor with an agreed to piece of text coming from the administration that just renders this whole thing dead, gone? I don't need approach language, I don't need a statement from the administration. All I need is language to say everybody around here said it's over. So why can't we agree to language that I could walk down to the Senate floor and get a UC and dare the Democrats to oppose ending this, and dare a Republican too if the president supports it? Why is that a bad strategy?

It's not, I mean, certainly the Department of Justice and the White House has worked with you and your colleagues to come up with language. We do not object that path or including it in some other.
