How Envestnet Is Harnessing AI and Data 

Let's talk a little bit about AI and data what's ahead. There's a lot to unpack here.

There's a lot.

So yeah, take the ball and share some high-level thoughts.

Right, so I mean, at the most basic level, right? We understand and we appreciate how transformative these technologies are. And at the most basic level, AI has already had a massive impact on how Envestnet as an organization operates, right? So it's had a big internal impact. The most obvious place for that is in our engineering organization where we're seeing greater productivity and throughput with fewer errors and faster time to market for new features than we've ever had before, which enables us, as we've sort of already discussed, to sort of meet advisors where they're going with greater alacrity than we ever have before. And that's great. These technologies, AI in particular, and agentic AI specifically is transforming how we deliver on the operational side of our business. All of that sort of frees up sort of more resources and more capital for us to invest in our technologies and in our managed account solutions. What's more interesting for the people listening to this podcast, however, is how we're using AI to change how they interact with the solutions that we provide. And one of the areas where we have been a leader for the past couple years and continue to lead is around the topic of how to utilize the data that we have access to in order to enable advisors to be more insightful and to react more appropriately to what's going on in the portfolios of their clients. And so again, to sort of make this a little bit more specific, at our scale, with 7.4 trillion in assets and nearly 22 million accounts and executing close to 300 million trades a year, we have incredible insight at the advisor level as to what their portfolios look like, how they compare to other portfolios, both sort of within their individual firm and sort of more broadly across the ecosystem. And over the past couple years, as we've sort of come to a greater understanding of the power of the insights that that can provide, we've worked with our clients to say, this would be even more powerful if we combine this data with other data that the firm has. As great as Envestnet is, as you know, and as people listening to this podcast know, there are plenty of assets that aren't on our platform, right? Some of them are held in other sort of solutions. Some of them are held off platform. And so in working with our clients, we take the Envestnet data, their specific data and external data sources, and build a really powerful set of insights into what's going on at the specific advisor level. Not surprisingly, that's a solution that we call Envestnet Data Insights, and hundreds of organizations are using this today.
