Nvidia Survived the DeepSeek Panic, But Its Stock Is Still Under Pressure

Nvidia reported its fiscal fourth quarter results late Wednesday, and the report was good overall. Demand is still really strong for the company's ai chips, even following the fears that were raised by deepseek last month. But Nvidia stock is coming down a bit Thursday morning for a few reasons. One is that there's new fears about tariffs and what they might do to Nvidia's business 'cause they still get a lot of sales from China. And the other is this new system called blackwell. It's very complex and it costs a lot to produce and so Nvidia warned that its gross profits for the next couple quarters are gonna see some pressure as they ramp up production of this new system. Overall though, Nvidia still seems to have a very strong runway left for its ai business.
